ANTIOCH, Tenn. (WKRN) — Ten miles southeast of downtown Nashville, a new golf entertainment venue backed by Tiger Woods will soon debut in Antioch.
On Monday, equipment and construction crews prepared to start digging up the 5.4 acres of land, which is now home to a golf entertainment venue called PopStroke.
“PopStroke is a one-of-a-kind putting, miniature golf, and dining experience,” explained Timothy Glita, Chief People Officer for PopStroke. “In Nashville, it is going to be our first venue with 54 holes, so we are really excited about that.”
The venue will have two indoor 18-hole mini golf courses and an outdoor 18-hole course for year-round hole-in-ones.
“This is their very first indoor and outdoor facility in the country,” said District 32 Metro Councilmember Joy Styles. “So what I love is Antioch really is becoming the ground zero place for first-time ideas.”
“Century Farms is an amazing up-and-coming area,” Glita added. “It’s a mixed-use property with shops, housing, entertainment, and retail, and that is just like the perfect fit for PopStroke. There’s a lot of young families there, PopStroke is all about catering to guests who are three years old or 83 years old.”
Since 2013, when Century Farms bought the land, it has developed from cattle to Whataburger and new construction like Chick-fil-A and the soon-to-be PopStroke.
“We Antiochians are extremely proud of where we live, and so for people to see our potential, to see what is already here, because we’re not rebuilding something new, this is augmenting what is already here,” Styles said. “We are saying, ‘Here is this vibrant community that is already here. How do we augment the greatness that is already here?'”
According to the commercial real estate firm Oldacre McDonald, other developments under construction or in permitting include In-n-Out Burger, Chick-fil-A, five different hotels, and several hundred more multi-family units.
The councilmember for the area told News 2 that Antioch is quickly developing into a place to live, work and play.
“These are all ways that people get to stay in their own community,” Styles said. “We don’t have to travel to get things done.”
“PopStroke very much wants to partner with the cities and the areas that we go into,” Glita expressed. “We like to be very much involved in the community, and Antioch just seemed like the perfect fit in that sense.”
Construction on PopStroke is anticipated to take 12 months, with its grand opening in February 2026.
