MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WKRN) — A two-vehicle crash Monday evening in Murfreesboro resulted in the death of one person and sent several others to the hospital, according to authorities.
The Murfreesboro Police Department said the crash occurred just before 6:45 p.m. Monday on Middle Tennessee Boulevard between Park Avenue and Haley Road.

Officials said one person was pronounced deceased following the incident. The injured were transported to a hospital, where one person is in critical condition and two others are stable.
Middle Tennessee Boulevard was closed for several hours as investigators worked to determine the cause of the crash. Additional details have not been disclosed as the MPD Fatal Accident Crash Team continues its investigation.
