NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A former support staff worker at Antioch High School was charged with solicitation of a teen girl following a Metro Police investigation.
In a press release, the Metro Nashville Police Department said Clarence Davis II, 35, was suspended from his job as an assistant basketball coach and support staff member at AHS after he became the focus of an MNPD Youth Services investigation involving his “inappropriate Instagram communication” with a 14-year-old student.
Officials said the investigation began on Jan. 14 after a resource officer was informed that Davis and the 14-year-old were communicating on social media. The school immediately suspended Davis after the investigation was opened.
Davis is charged with 19 counts of solicitation of a minor, especially aggravated sexual exploitation and one count of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. The MNPD said all charges relate to his communication with one victim. He is detained in Metro jail on a $192,500 bond.
