NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Metro Nashville Police Department started an investigation Monday night after an individual arrived at a local hospital with gunshot wounds.
According to officials, the shooting occurred around 10:30 p.m. Monday in an alleyway off Lafayette Street. Investigators said about two dozen shell casings were recovered from the scene.
An individual who was shot in the backside arrived at a local hospital after the incident. Officials stated that the victim’s injuries were not life-threatening.
No information on a suspect was immediately released.
