NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Country music superstar and American Idol Carrie Underwood is expected to perform at President Donald Trump’s second inauguration.
Underwood is expected to sing “America the Beautiful” before President-elect Trump is sworn in as the 47th President of the United States.
She will be joined by the Armed Forces Choir and the United States Naval Academy Glee Club.
Underwood will sing after J.D. Vance is sworn in as Vice President and before Trump’s return as Commander in Chief.
The inauguration is scheduled for Monday, Jan. 20, which is also Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Flags are set to fly at half-staff on Jan. 20 as the country honors former President Jimmy Carter who passed away on Dec, 29. 2024.
