DEKALB COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — Authorities in DeKalb County are investigating after a body was found in the Dowelltown area over the weekend.
The body was reportedly found off Man Hill Road just after 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 11.
According to DeKalb County Sheriff Patrick Ray, several agencies including the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department, Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) were sent to the scene to investigate.

Officials said the deceased was sent to Nashville to be identified by the Medical Examiner.
The incident is being investigated by the TBI and the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department, according to the sheriff.
No additional details were immediately released.
