MT. JULIET, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Mt. Juliet Police Department was able to recover a handgun reported stolen out of Nashville in 2018 during a traffic stop Thursday.
In a social media post, Mt. Juliet police said they conducted a traffic stop due to improper display of a registration plate. A 25-year-old Clarksville man was found armed with the gun.
Upon investigation, authorities discovered the handgun had been reported stolen out of Nashville in 2018. Additionally, the man was wanted on three probation violations related to an evading arrest incident out of Nashville.
Mt. Juliet police recovered another handgun reported stolen out of Nashville during a traffic stop just one day prior, according to social media.
