NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Middle Tennessee is home to beautiful light displays. Tonight’s display is more than just a display; it’s a friendly competition among Nashville’s fire stations.
This is the fourth year for the annual holiday cheer contest among stations with the Nashville Fire Department (NFD). The NFD called the competition a way to spotlight the holiday spirit and help one lucky station earn bragging rights through the year.
If you can’t swing by in person, you can check out each display at a participating fire station on the NFD Facebook page. To cast a vote, like the Facebook post of your favorite station. The NFD clarified only likes would count as votes, not comments, shares or any other reactions.
The winner will be announced on Christmas morning and receive a trophy to go with the title of NFD Holiday Cheer Champion.
