MARSHALL COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — Four people were brought to the hospital — including two who were seriously injured — as a result of a Sunday afternoon crash in Marshall County, according to first responders.
The Chapel Hill Fire Department said personnel were dispatched to a “serious motor vehicle collision” near Beasley Road and Eagleville Pike shortly before 1 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 29.
When units arrived on scene, they reportedly discovered a two-vehicle crash that caused heavy damage. According to officials, first responders had to use hydraulic rescue tools to remove one person who was pinned.
The department told News 2 that two patients — one who was flown to the hospital and one who was driven — were in “serious/critical” condition, but two other patients were transported via ambulance in stable condition.
No additional details have been released about the circumstances surrounding Sunday’s collision.
