NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Officers were able to recover more than three pounds of cocaine during a traffic stop in West Nashville Wednesday.
Metro officers stopped a moving truck for following a tractor-trailer too closely on Interstate 40 East near Bellevue at mile marker 196.
The driver consented to a search of the truck and officers found 3.2 pounds of cocaine wrapped in two separate bricks in between the vehicle’s driver and passenger seats, according to Metro police.
Raidel Arbelo, of Houston, and Rafael Leon, of Louisville, were both arrested and chose not to speak with offices. Their bonds were set at $500,000.
