MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — An investigation is underway following a deadly shooting in Montgomery County Sunday afternoon.
According to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a shooting call at an apartment complex in the 2900 block of Dunlop Lane around 1 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 29.
“The incident left one adult male dead,” officials said, adding that a suspect was taken into custody shortly after authorities arrived at the scene.
The Criminal Investigations Division responded to the shooting, which the sheriff’s office said was an isolated incident and does not pose a threat to the community.
No additional details have been released about this active investigation.
